*Submission Requirements:
After completion of online registration, and by end of business day, Monday, May 24, 2010:
Send an email with SUBJECT LINE “ART INTO ART ENTRY + Your Invoice Number” to with the following:
1. Images of ‘masters’ work as well as your interpretive entry. **
2. Artist Head shot**
3. Artist Bio (150 words or less) as an attachment preferred
4. Artist Statement about your interpretation of the work (75 words or less) as an attachment preferred
5. Website where patrons can see your work (if you have one)
6. List of included images along with size (W” x H”) and medium.
7. Your contact information for patrons to contact you.
**JPEG format/300 dpi preferred with minimum of 4” max width. Name your images with the name of the work. Your head shot photo can be your name.
LIABILITY WAIVER
The registrant to “Art into Art” is participating at their own risk. They hereby understand and agree that they are solely responsible for the safety and security of their artwork, personal property, belongings and bodily person at all times and during all activities related to their participation in this event. In addition, the Undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Illinois Corporation known as the Flat Iron Artists' Association (FIAA), as well as The Berger Realty Group, Inc. and any other organizations involved with the event, either directly or indirectly in any capacity, their Directors Officers, and Volunteers individually and in their corporate capacity, its agents, employees, and insurers, as well as any form of damages as result of bodily injury or property damage, tangible or intangible, including any and all damages to artwork exhibited, displayed and presented by the undersigned on any event premises.
All entrants grant the FIAA the right to reproduce their work in conjunction with the promotion of the event. The FIAA assumes all entries are original and are the work and property of the applicant, with all rights granted therein. The FIAA is not liable for any copyright infringement on the art of the entrant.
By fulfilling registration, online or in person, the registrant is agreeing that they understand and agree to this liability waiver in lieu of signature, and that the application process, online, or in person, conveys said agreement.
