The Flat Iron Artists’ Association announces “Art Into Art.”
This concept calls for the artist to select a painting by a past master, examine it and then create their personal interpretation of that artwork on canvas, paper or as a sculpture.
There are no rules regarding your interpretation, except that you must be able to explain the connection between your work and the master in a statement that will be included in the display
The exhibit will open with a Flat Iron Arts Building reception on First Friday, June

This show coincides and is the featured exhibit of the FIAA’s Summer smART Show
“Art Into Art” will feature 2D and 3D works. Works on Board, Canvas, Paper and Sculpture are being accepted. Sorry, no pure digital, reproductions, installations or projected video are being accepted.
This is an OPEN show with ONE CASH PRIZE of $1,000. !!.
