LIABILITY WAIVER

 

The registrant to “Art into Art” is participating at their own risk. They hereby understand and agree that they are solely responsible for the safety and security of their artwork, personal property, belongings and bodily person at all times and during all activities related to their participation in this event. In addition, the Undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Illinois Corporation known as the Flat Iron Artists' Association (FIAA), as well as The Berger Realty Group, Inc. and any other organizations involved with the event, either directly or indirectly in any capacity, their Directors Officers, and Volunteers individually and in their corporate capacity, its agents, employees, and insurers, as well as any form of damages as result of bodily injury or property damage, tangible or intangible, including any and all damages to artwork exhibited, displayed and presented by the undersigned on any event premises.

 

All entrants grant the FIAA the right to reproduce their work in conjunction with the promotion of the event. The FIAA assumes all entries are original and are the work and property of the applicant, with all rights granted therein. The FIAA is not liable for any copyright infringement on the art of the entrant.

 

By fulfilling registration, online or in person, the registrant is agreeing that they understand and agree to this liability waiver in lieu of signature, and that the application process, online, or in person, conveys said agreement.

Monday, May 24, Through Sunday, May 30 from  11 AM until 7 PM

 

Your Interpretive Work to be delivered to the Flat Iron Arts Bldg, to Charles Rees in CLR Gallery, Studio 321 OR Gary Marr, in Sapere Art, Studio 341. There is NO storage for additional, “for sale” works.  Accepted work will be hung by Show Staff

 

Wednesday, June 2, or Thursday, June 3 from 12 Noon until 8 PM

 

Artist installation of additional works for sale.  Download and Print  “Show Rules”  for all pertinent details and expectations.  Artist is responsible for delivering, providing materials, hanging and removing upon completion of show. There is NO storage, nor security for these artworks following the show.

 

Friday, June 4, 6 PM - 10 PM

 

Opening Reception as well as WPB First Friday! Artists and “helpers” are encouraged to attend on a complimentary basis as well as invite others to visit the show.  There is a “suggested donation” requested at the door of $5.00 on this night only to offset show expenses.

 

Saturday, June 5, Noon - 10 PM and Sunday, June 6, Noon - 6 PM

 

Show Open.

 

People’s Choice Voting ENDS Saturday at 10PM - Winner announced on Sunday at Noon

 

Show teardown immediately upon closing of show on Sunday.  

 

Artists keep 100% of sale price.  There is a 5% charge for purchases (of total transaction, including taxes) made through the FIAA credit card service.
